TERMS & CONDITIONS - FAQ

Standard turnaround time is 10-15 working days after receipt of payment and artwork has been approved.​ Work will not begin until adequate payment is received and approved.

We reserve the right to change any quoted prices and payment amounts, in cases where project details change or are unclear before initial quote. 

Changes to a product may be at the request of the client or from change in production circumstances.

Damages are not accepted 5 working days after receipt/ delivery of order.

If a problem with final product is related to our production quality control, a reprint or credit may be available within 5 working days of project receipt or delivery. We are not responsible for manufacture defects on third party goods. We will notify you when we use third party manufacturers.

If we are required to alter, recreate, or correct supplied art, proofs are available upon request. If no proof is requested, art is considered approved and we are not held claim to mistakes in the final product.​Screen printing jobs vary in price depending on size, material printed on, deadlines, quantity, and number of colors printed.​ Printing rates are considerations and may change upon project details. Screen fees apply to each color printed. The screen fee reserves the screen for 6 months for reprints. Screen fees cover the cost of set up and do not grant ownership of screens to customers.

In the event of changed artwork on reprints (dates, etc.), job is treated as new order and standard rates apply.​ We love to show our customers what we're up to! Which means we may take pictures of customer printed pieces for our social media. If you do not want your prints to be used please tell us.

All terms are subject to change at any time. Special circumstances may require special terms and agreements.

Due to the nature of hand pulled screen printing there is often a % defect rate. This is due to either problems with the garment itself, or due to misprints. This can be between 10% - 2% depending on quantity ordered (the larger the order, the lower the defect rate). If this should occur, please notify us within 5 working days of delivery. A credit note will be issued for the missing / damaged amount. Please note that you will be asked to provide evidence or return the products in question. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your Standard Turn-around Time?


We aim to turnaround all orders within 15 working days. Delivery estimates can vary slightly, depending on how booked up we are, how large the order is, or whether there's any extra garment finishing added.




Can I pay for a rush order?


Yes you can! We add a percentage onto your total order cost Appropraitely: Within 6-8 working days + 22% Within 4-6 working days +28% Within 2 working days + 50% Within 1 working day 100%




Can I provide my own garments?


Yes you can! We do ask that you remove all excess packaging and give us notification that you are doing so. we also ask that you provide an itinary of the stock sent to us. TPIC is not responsible for replacing any damaged or misprinted pieces.




Where do I send my Artwork and Can you make it print ready?


Send all artwork to info@theprintink.co.uk either before or after placing your order. We will check and handle the artwork for free to an extent. We will always provide a proof of your artwork before production, just incase! We prefer vector imagery when possible, but we accept mostly: psd, ai, pdf, jpg. We ask that you use a high resolution of 300 dpi or higher!




How should I send my Artwork?


You can send us your artwork via email when appropriate. If your file is too large, we like to use a free service called wetransfer! If you have any problems or worries, don't hesitate to get in touch!




How much does a Shirt cost?


This is probably our most frequently asked question, before answering we need a little more information! To get an accurate quote we usualy ask for the following: How many garments are in the order all together? What type of garment is it? EG: Gildan what fit or style garment? What colour/s are the garments? How many print colours? How many print locations? What sizes are needed? From this we can usually provide you with a quick and friendly quote!




How much is delivery and How long does it take?


All our deals include VAT and delivery so if you’ve booked in our deals you’ve no need to worry! If you have a bespoke order, a price will be arranged, usually around £10 for 50 shirts. As for how long, each job is different so we notify our customers accordingly. All orders are shipped as soon as they are completed.




Do you Deliver across the EU


We certainly do! We ship all over the UK as standard and can also Deliver across the EU for a small fee.
